SAARC Disaster Management Centre (SDMC) invites contributions from authors of following fields that may be submitted in any language, but will be published only in English:

a) Geological and Geophysical Disasters, covering disasters due to earthquakes, Landslide, Avalanches, Volcanoes, Mine Fire and Mine hazards, Liquefactions, Foundational failures of Dams, tunnels, bridges, roads and buildings

b) Hydro-Meteorological Disasters, covering disasters due to flood, drought, Glacier and GLOF, Climatic changes, Cyclones and Typhoons, Rain waters, Environment and Forest Fire and other related issues.

c) Biological and Manmade Disasters, including Epidemics and Pandemics and their remedial measures

d) Disaster related Policy & Planning and Disaster related Knowledge disseminations techniques.

e) Disaster Risk Response Mechanism, Capacity buildings to deal pre, during and post disaster scenarios

f) Role of Information technology in Disaster Management
